Character: Carla has been in the rescue since Dec 2007 / Jan 2008. Carla is a sweet and tranquil dog and was found abandoned as she requires regular medication for Leishmania (which is not expensive). She was rescued and cured from some very serious injuries but she is now in very good health. She lives with other dogs and is now particularly bonded with David, but she must be introduced to other dogs by an experienced person as she can be nervous aggressive around other dogs. She is more than happy around cats. Carla does have Leishmania but this has been treated and is now well under control, but she will require ongoing treatment, but this is relatively inexpensive. Her internal organs have not been affected. The combination of her Leishmania her size and her dominance means that she is still looking for her "forever home". She therefore needs a truly amazing owner! Is that you?


Carácter: Carla es un perro dulce y tranquilo y fue encontrada abandonado pues ella requiere la medicación regular para Leishmania (que no sea costoso). La rescataron y fueron curada de algunas lesiones muy serias pero ahora ella está en salud muy buena. Ella vive con otros perros y se enlaza particularmente con David, pero debe ser introducida a otros perros por una persona experimentada como ella puede ser agresiva nervioso alrededor de otros perros. Ella es más que feliz alrededor de gatos. Carla tiene Leishmania pero esto ahora se ha tratado y está bien bajo control. Sus órganos internos no se han afectado.
