This is WINSTON, a 4/5 year old Pointer, and you could say in some ways, he is such a lucky dog.

Last Sunday at the Fundraising Bike ride, two of our team came across Winston when they stopped for a short rest period during the ride.
He has a large cut across the back of his neck which we, and the Vet, think is an injury from barbed wire - he also has two smaller puncture marks on his side.

We immediately phoned the Vet, who came out and treated the wounds but said they were probably about a week old!

Winston is now safe and being cared for in local kennels, and is on medication for his wounds.

He is an adorable, trusting, gentle dog despite everything he has suffered, he loves humans? Sometimes we have to ask why?.......

We are desperately looking for long term foster care to help his recovery or a new forever home but if you can't help with either of these, any donations you can make towards Winston's continued care, would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for your support...

Love and thanks

Winston ❤️❤️❤️

This is the adorable Lindy-Lou who was found in San Juan de Los Terreros after being thrown out of a 4x4 vehicle.

She's four years old and a very clam and lovely natured lady, used to ther dogs and cats.
She will make someone an amazing best friend for life and so deserves a new start in life.

Can you offer her a home? Please share because someone out there may well fall in love with her, as we have done....❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi everyone, we have a very sad but urgent plea for help. Four very young kittens have been found they were dumped in a child’s shoe box on Monday night by the rubbish bins in Aguilas. They are very tiny and still had umbilical cords attached. They were dumped just before nightfall which is very cruel and they would most certainly have died. There are two males and two females. They are currently being bottle fed but this is only temporary arrangement and we desperately need someone to take care of them as soon as possible, or at the very latest once they are eating solid food. Please share like crazy so we can help these lovely babies. Please comment in this post or contact Mandy Marshall asap if you can help. Thanks in advance all!!

HAPPY update - from me ROO - This time 6 months ago I was on my way to Germany to my lovely new family. I had no idea what was happening at the time, but just wanted to let you all know that I am so loved and couldn't have asked for a better home. Huge slobbery licks and thanks to my mommies Ruth and Janna and to my furry siblings!!!!

This is Molly all ready for her new home, she can travel internationally as she has had all vaccinations and Microchip!

She is one of seven puppies that were born on 14th September 2014, San Animal were contacted by a family who heard them crying in a elderly neighbours out-house, this was a depilated old building, obviously the stray mum needed some shelter to give birth. There are three white/beige, and four brown/tan. Four males and three females. Please refer to postings for Silver, Teddy, Lily and Matilda as they are her siblings!

Hello us two puppies were born in January 2015 on a farm. There were lots of big scarey cows and other animals on the farm therefore we are now in temporary accommodation. We are desperately looking for a foster home, and of course a forever home. We have been told we will stay as tiny dogs possibly a X Andalucian Bodegueros breed. We just think we are cute.

A VERY SAD STORY......with a hopefully happy ending!

SAY HELLO TO BERTIE...❤️
See below an update from the lady who found poor Bertie

March 7th 2015

I've trimmed away all his matted hair and bathed him and have now put a collar on him. He's still very nervous of people at first but is fine to be handled, doesn't growl or snap. He has a very happy temperament ..... adores my 2 dogs ..... especially Remi who he plays really well with and occasionally they jump all over Dempsey, who just rolls onto his back and lets them jump all over him. Seems okay with cats as well, just has a healthy interest but doesn't chase them.

He needs someone who will spend a lot of time and patience in building up his trust and will be dedicated to looking after his coat (either keep it trimmed short or constantly groom it so that it will grow without tangles). Bertie still needs to be checked over by our vet and once this is done we can start his inoculations. We think he is approximately 18 months old but our vet will confirm this!

Bertie was found by one of our supporters in February, he had obviously been living rough and was very thin with a badly matted coat which was full of knots and he was very frightened.
They have been feeding him, but he's was too nervous to be touched ..... he's a delightful little fella and will be absolutely stunning when his coat is sorted ..... Probably a Lhasa Apso type dog ..... maybe with a mix of Yorkie!

Can anyone out there offer this little guy a new home.....he so deserves it ❤️

Hi my name is Scooby, I was born in October 2014. Sadly in December I was left on the beach all on my own, I was very scared, but then I was rescued by a kind lady who contacted San Animal, so I am very lucky. I am now in a temporary foster home. I am enjoying my new home but what I want more than anything is a forever home. I have had all my injections and have a passport so I can travel anywhere in Europe. I am a really friendly and happy boy who loves to play and needs lots of cuddles This is me Scooby in the tennis court at my foster home

This is the lovely Alaska that we featured last week - she was found living on a roundabout outside Purias and we thought she had a broken back leg.

However it turned out to be her claw area but after her medication, just look at her now.....

We are still desperately looking for a foster/permanent home for her - if you can help in anyway, please contact us
